Youth Sword and Fencing Classes
Guard Up! Family Swordsmanship offers classes for kids (ages 4-10) as well as adults and teens. Our coaching model for our youth adventure, sword and fencing classes is the same as for our programs for teen and adult students… we endorse a positive, exciting and fun training environment which promotes winning as a secondary goal to the emphasis of personal skill improvement. Our weekly classes are divided into two tiers: Tier 1 is a one hour class for beginner and early intermediate students, and Tier 2 is a 1.5 hour class for intermediate and advanced students. Instructors provide individual written assessments to help students track their own progress, focus on the student’s strengths and provide feedback on how to work on other areas for improvement. Your child’s personal goals are what interests us… tell us what you and your child want to accomplish while training with us and we will help get you there.
