Guard Up Family Swordsmanship offers sword classes specifically for your home schooled children. Our sword lessons provide an excellent opportunity for your child to learn valuable life skills while getting exercise (and fulfilling gym requirements) in a safe and nurturing environment where creativity is rewarded. Using games from our ACE Sword curriculum and incorporating techniques from our Historical Weapons curriculum, students learn swordsmanship while having fun and making friends. Our expert instructors work with the students and parents to make each class safe, fun, and educational. Our Home school sword classes are a great way to meet other home schooled kids and like minded parents. If your child is interested in swordsmanship, the medieval period, or is just looking for a fun alternative to conventional team sports, our Home School class may be just what you’re looking for. This class begins in September and runs through until June. We also offer other options including, but not limited to, fencing or stage combat classes. Options are available for both younger and older students.
