Do you want to march in a parade next to monsters, armor-clad knights, and a fire-breathing Fire Spirit? Do you want to show the town of Bedford how cool it is to be a Hero? We can always use your help for our annual appearance at the Bedford Day parade and fair. Meet us on Loomis Street in Bedford at 10am, on September 23rd. Make sure to bring a bottle of water, your foam swords, and any costuming you wish to wear. After, we will be running sword battles and until 3pm in Bedford Center at the fair. Bring your family for a day of fun! Call (781) 270-4800 to let us know you are coming. Call before the 17th, and we can provide you with costuming and swords if you don’t have your own.

This year, to say an extra “Thank you” to our brave parade volunteers, we want to give you something special… If you march with us in the Bedford Day parade this year, you get to pick your favorite Camp House T-shirt to take home! Even though camp is over for the summer, you don’t have to say goodbye to your House or your character. Wear your House colors with pride, don a piece of costuming from your character’s backstory, and remember what you learned as a Hero this summer. When called upon to be a Hero in “real life,” don’t back down. Call upon your character to help you through your challenges, and never forget your three tenets: Courage, Honor, and Compassion.
